Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AliceAmbrose Capital Inc. ("AlgoCrucible", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the AlgoCrucible software and website.
1. What we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store your trading strategies, parameters, optimization or backtest results, trade lists, or any NinjaTrader data. All of that is processed locally and never leaves your computer. The Service does not include analytics or tracking of how you use it.
2. What we process, and why
- Purchase information. When you buy a plan, the transaction is handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We receive limited order details (such as your name, email address, plan, order ID, and country for tax) in order to deliver your license and provide support. Payment card details are handled by Paddle and its processors — we never see them. See Paddle's privacy policy for how they process payments.
- License validation (subscriptions only). For subscription licenses, the Service periodically contacts our payment provider's licensing service to confirm your subscription is active. This sends your license key and a non-identifying machine identifier (a hash derived from hardware/OS attributes) — never your name, strategies, or trading data. Lifetime/offline licenses do not contact any server.
- Support. If you email us, we keep the correspondence to help resolve your request.
- Website. Our website is a static site; our web host may keep standard server logs (for example, IP address and requested page) for security and operations. We do not run behavioral or advertising analytics on the website.
3. How we use information
To deliver and validate licenses, fulfill orders, provide customer support, keep the Service secure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only as needed: with Paddle for payment and fulfillment; with service providers acting on our behalf; and where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data retention
We keep order, license, and support records for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through our support portal (or email support@algocrucible.com). Rights relating to payment data may also be exercised through Paddle.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own (including where we or Paddle operate), with appropriate safeguards where required.
8. Cookies
Our marketing website itself does not set tracking cookies, and any videos are served from our own site (they set no cookies). The Paddle checkout uses its own cookies, governed by Paddle's policy.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
11. Contact
Privacy questions: contact us through our support portal (or email support@algocrucible.com).
